This second installment is part of a trilogy under the same name, "back to the future." This narrates the events that happened after the first part and all the necessary journey to fix the timelines and return its protagonists to their corresponding times.
The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Speilberg. It was released in 1989, grossing around $ 331 million. In order not to spoil the film to people who have not seen it (despite being a classic of the cinema), this film continues with the story of Marty Mcfly and Doctor Emmett Brown, traveling through time in the mythical DeLorean. The story is governed in 3 different times: 2015, a 1985 very different from the one they came from, and the year 1955.
After solving all the conflicts present in these different times, and shortly after completing his mission, a small accident lets us glimpse the continuation of this story in a third and final part. All this, added to great special effects for that time, a memorable soundtrack and elements that remained in the film culture throughout time, allowed this film and saga to become a classic of the cinema of the 80s.
I think that this trilogy is iconic but I have never seen one of the movies upsi
